The Office of the Auditor-General has one official Twitter account – @auditor_general
Topics covered by the @auditor_general account will include:
- information about our staff and the work they do;
- links to new and previously published reports from our Office;
- information about upcoming events;
- alerts to new content on our website; and
- information about future reports and audits.
The Auditor-General and Office of the Auditor-General do not endorse or approve of any opinions or philosophies of those who are followed by the @auditor_general. Likewise, the Office of the Auditor-General does not endorse or support the views and opinions of @auditor_general followers.
The @auditor_general account will be monitored Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm NZ-time.
By sending @replies to the @auditor_general account, you are providing your permission for the Office of the Auditor General to use, copy, and reproduce your content.
At the discretion of the staff member monitoring the @auditor_general account, @replies deemed abusive, unlawful, derogatory, discriminatory, or defamatory will be reported to Twitter and the accounts from which they originated will be blocked by @auditor_general. The Office is under no obligation to give any reason for its decision to block accounts.
